On October 9th, my family and I were evacuated from our home at 3:00 am, as fires raged down the mountins behind us in the Sonoma County firestorm. While our street was on fire 3 separate times, our home ultimately did not burn, but did suffer severe smoke damage.
We were told the house would most likely not be liveable at all, but after a month and a half of cleaning and restoration, we were able to return home- just in time for the holidays. (Although my studio still smells like a campfire, so I won't be back there anytime soon).
During this time, both my shop and website were in the middle of being updated, and of course both came to a screeching halt. It's been a full month of dealing with the aftermath of the fires, and I can tell you: it hasn't been pretty.
I'm thrilled Dear Miss Modern shop back up and running, and I am taking on new custom clients and projects as well. This simplified version of the shop will be in place as things settle down, and I will be adding new products throughout December and in to the new year. Please sign up for our mailing list if you'd like to know when new things are added!
In the meantime, I hope you will find something sparkly and pretty for your business, and please drop us a line if there's something you'd like to see in the shop, or just to say hello.
I also want to say thank you for your continued support in the seventh year of the Dear Miss Modern Shop!
xoxo Coco / Christine
